Cylindrical Mandrel Bending Tester

By bending the coating along the mandrel, we check for cracks and peeling.

This is a testing device for evaluating the flexibility of coatings. It checks the resistance to cracking and delamination of the metal substrate when the coating is bent by a mandrel. According to JIS standards, there are two types: Type 1 and Type 2, and this product corresponds to Type 2. It is considered a suitable testing device for test panels with a thickness of up to 1mm. It is also used for evaluating the flexibility of hard coatings on films. For the standard size of 7mm width (056-1), the 100mm width type (056-70) corresponds to the frequently used test piece size of 70x150mm.

Cupping test machine ・Elysen test machine

The cupping test machine is a testing device used to evaluate the resistance to cracking and delamination from the metal substrate when the coating film undergoes localized deformation due to indentation.

The cupping test machine is a testing device that evaluates the resistance to cracking and peeling from the metal substrate when the coating film undergoes localized deformation due to indentation. It is equivalent to the Erichsen testing machine specified in JIS-K5400. By attaching the included small CCD camera, the testing process is displayed on this liquid crystal touch panel display screen. Video recording and image capture can be performed via touch operation, and the data can be saved to a USB memory stick for transfer to a computer. The indentation speed and depth can be freely adjusted and saved. Automatic calibration can be performed using the included calibration zero plate. As a fully automatic type, the test begins with the press of a button. Indenter: hemispherical with a diameter of 20mm; indentation depth: 0-15mm; indentation speed: 0.02-0.4mm/s; maximum test panel width: 70mm; test panel thickness: up to 1.25mm for steel plates and up to 3mm for aluminum.

Electric Pencil Hardness Tester

This is an electrically controlled pencil hardness tester designed to achieve more stable results in pencil hardness tests, which are often prone to human error.

When conducting pencil hardness tests by hand, there are two very difficult points to ensure consistently stable results: 1. Do not apply too much load (750g ± 10g). 2. Push a minimum distance of 7mm at a stable speed of 0.5 to 1mm/s. The new electric pencil hardness testing machine can achieve consistently stable test results because these two points are controlled electronically. First, the load can be set in increments of 10g from 500g to 1000g. Additionally, the test speed can be set from 0.5 to 8.5mm/s. The test duration can also be freely selected from 1 to 999 seconds. This allows for consistently stable testing to be conducted.

Pencil hardness tester

Pencil hardness test to evaluate the hardness of the coating film. It is a high-performance, cost-effective model.

It is used to measure the hardness of coatings. It is designed to apply a load of 750g ±10g at the tip of the pencil. The angle of the pencil is fixed at 45° ±1°, and there is a level on the top of the testing device. By using this equipment, reproducible tests can be conducted, allowing for the same evaluation regardless of who performs the test. The main body is made of steel and is powder-coated, with a product specification that ensures the load accuracy is within 750g ±5g. It is a high-precision model with high cost performance. It is also effective for applications beyond painting. It is used for evaluating the hardness of hard coatings on films, assessing the surface hardness of liquid crystal displays (LCDs), and evaluating the hardness of plastic products, making it a standard for hardness evaluation. The lineup includes three types with loads of 750g, 1000g, and 500g, each corresponding to JIS-K5600-5-4, JIS-K5400, and industry-specific standards (500g), respectively.

Pendulum hardness tester

No human errors occur! A more efficient pendulum hardness test can be conducted.

The "Pendulum Hardness Tester" is a testing machine used to evaluate the hardness of coating surfaces. The evaluation of surface hardness is conducted based on the number of swings and the duration of swinging. It is equipped with an automatic lifting protective cover that completely encloses the device, preventing even slight winds that could affect the pendulum test, thus maintaining the stability of the pendulum. Additionally, it features a built-in sensor that accurately measures the level, and it allows for the monitoring of temperature and humidity during testing. 【Features】 ■ No human error occurs ■ Provides a stable testing environment ■ Equipped with an automatic lifting protective cover that completely encloses the device ■ Prevents even slight winds that could affect the pendulum test ■ Maintains the stability of the pendulum *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.
